Fantastic App. I didn't expect there is an app like this. You can save Google maps while you're on Wifi, then use them whenever you like, without internet connection. You then have the advantage of the highly detailed Google maps, and don't pay a cent for Data charges.

Must Have.... GPS Might not work in some places... load map to cache before you leave civilization! nothing worse than being lost in BFE. and Gps is spinning in circles... Oldschool map-skills are very important!!!

Simply works No downloading required. Simply browse Google or OSM maps. All tiles viewed (at the zoom level viewed) are automatically stored for offline viewing.

Opencyclemaps do not work (they work with worse apps, though). They did'nt work some weeks ago also. But worked months ago.

Better caching than rmaps, but less map choices than shown in the screenshot. Locus and orux maps have better offline map management.

Good except if there isn't a data connection it'll lose the gps while trying to get the map tiles.

Almost perfect Perfect for map caching and offline viewing. It only needs a search engine.
