Okay . Not good for podcasts..doesn't even display all episodes, just a small fraction chosen at random. Variable speed works okay. I download podcast with beyond pod and manually play them with this so I can Listen with 1.2x speed. Randomly starts playing even while off.

Headset button beep bug? Headset button beep setting causes phone's volume control to beep and switch to Media volume control when player shouldn't even be running. :-\

By far the best program for audio books. It re-opens wherever you stopped, and you can adjust the playback speed without any distortion.

Downgraded an early adopter !!! Poor business practice barring early adopter and supporter of their program (initially free) when upgrading. I told all my friends of great program. I no longer can use their software after year of use. At least offer us a discount for full version. Amateurish business decision.

BEST PLAYER BUT... Users like things like beautiful and easy interface, skins, download covers and lyrics, integrated social media... You have the best and advanced player here. But if you prefer change to trial before remember what I say about what users want, maybe you will not increase paid users neither have a top download app. Why not improve cosmetic changes and attract common users? Why not put a video, fantastic screenshots here like others devs? Why not try social media followers, reduced price for limited time, etc?

Not bad, but not sure it's worth the price... Decent player with decent amount of features, but the UI is a little bit cumbersome. And going from a free/premium model to a trial model is certainly enough to make me move on to one of the other free media players. Sorry Astro, you guys just lost yourself a user.

Great player. Bad news changing it to a trial. Don't update! Astro Player Nova is a very good player. However, they're moving from a free version to a 7 days trial version, so beware of updating it.

Best player I've found I like the step back after calls or headset unplug/re-plug. The pitch correction on accelerated or slowed playback makes catching up on my Coast to Coast AM shows and audio books more efficient. Resume from position in playback (stepping back a few seconds) while the app is shut down and re-started is essential for audio books and podcasts. Wish the same feature of the program that stops the audio during a call could also detect audio from other apps ie:videos in a browser. Overall this is a great app.

No search function UI can be improved. Not able to view an episode or song. No search function available

Good equalizer, but won't repeat song. Skips when display times out. HTC Magic.

Didn't play FLAC I have been looking for something that can play FLAC. This one categorically mentioned it plays FLAC. Installed and tried. It won't play FLAC. Beside it kept freezing my phone. No idea where my phone became totally unresponsive while it was running. Ran twice and was forced to force close on both the occassions. Uninstalling. 3 stars, as it may be useful for other purposes that I don't need. -- Ranjeet Rain (Android 2.3.5 on Samsung Galaxy Note)
