W/ 7yrs exp in Chinese, I find this a great ref even if you can't hear audio in free ver. Search is very intuitive. Color coded characters=nice touch.

Glacially slow. Some apps are a pleasure to use, but not this one. I only use this because it's better than nothing.

Lja7. First of all the dictionary is ok and the letters are big etc the price for the app not so much b/c the pronunciation totally SUCKS continued

@Wheel15 It seems 200,000 active users disagree! @JK This app is based on the Chinese-English dictionary CC-CEDICT. i.e. all the headwords are in Chinese which means it is optimised for Chinese lookup. English lookup is a secondary feature. If you often look up English words then you might consider the Pro version which includes a paid add-on for the ABC English-Chinese dictionary. This has over 62,000 English words including "vintage", "vintages" and "vintage car"!

Good but needs more vocab Overall good back and forth dictionary. As an advanced user I found quite a few words lacking, one that most recently comes to mind is "vintage."
