Great Terminal, a bit rough around the edges BTEP is everything you'd expect a terminal to be. The launcher for different (local/ssh/...) configurations is a bit clunky and working with ssh keys is a bit of a mess. Also I recently got me a bluetooth keyboard and BTEP has a bit of a problem with it: On a German keyboard, some common symbols like '~' or '@' are only reachable through the AltGr (aka right Alt) modifier key, which BTEP doesn't handle properly. It's kind of hard using a shell without those symbols...

Limited character set support? It doesn't display characters such as éößπà etc. So can't enter all german,french, or greek words! Galaxy S2, bash.

Very nice terminal I'm using a Logitech Revue with the full sized keyboard. There's an issue with getting some of the symbolic keys to send properly. Hopefully, this will be fixed in later releases. Also, switching in between running terminals is kludgy. The text rendering on my HD TV is gorgeous. So, if you can work around the two tiny issues, this is a great terminal app to have on your A/V system.

What I'm missing ... ... is a possibility to automatically close the window, and if it was the last one, the whole application, by leaving the shell. I'm using fullscreen mode and I don't know better method than to invoke the menu and use "Close window" from there, which is annoying. Otherwise, it's a good, highly configurable and flexible app.

I used to love this app. Since the last update, it's terrible. Since the last update, the app doesn't disable shift key use; I'll capitalize a letter, and then all other letters are capitalized, special characters show up, and keyboard shortcuts cause massive issues. Occasionally hitting shift again and typing a few letters fixes this, usually I have to completely close the app and reopen to get rid of it. Tested on two devices, same problem. This used to be great.

The best SSH client for Android, The best way to SSH for Android, especially on a tablet with a proper keyboard. Needs internal server list. I'd pay lots for easy X forwarding but realise it means creating a whole X server. Easily a 5 star app.

Great for BT physical keyboard Vi users! I found this when I couldn't use Vi in connectbot because android BT keyboards used "back" for the escape key. Very annoying. So this is perfect now. All but one odd thing I'm still working out. Why it won't resolve any hostnames/ip addresses. I sent email. Hope I can get a reply on what I'm doign wrong. Update: So the dns works fine on OMAP. It only fails on my Intel RAZRi intel x86 phone. So I'm suspecting the busybox they ask you to download as an addon is only for OMAP.

Versatile emulator Very powerful, enables you to emulate many different operating systems such as unix and CP/M on android. Systems are bundled with applications; sadly does not let you navigate android folders from within the emulator.

cant ssh at all attempt times out, claims remote host closed connection. Refuses to exit, must kill from task manager

Very cool but.. .. I really miss tmux as "Terminal IDE" offers it. Please add that one!
