No more tracking Latest update seems to have broken tracking. Now just gives me a message. "This service is unavailable. Please try again in a fee seconds." Unavailable? Why? Other GPS apps working fine.

Great, but needs a share capability! This app comes with a lot with a lot of functions. The "dashboard" allows selection of visible items, including lat/long and UTM coords at the same time. This is the only GPS app that allows this (apart from B/T GPS Blue). The downside - no Share capability for track files. This means a track file has to be exported and located in the file manager before you can send it on. This can be problematic in a tight work environment.

Solid, but phone issues The product looks good. Does way points, tracks. Here in Australia, it is hard to get useful maps of the back country (all crown copyright!), so being able to relate the GPS to paper maps is good. Also a nice view of which satellites are actually visible. One feature request, would be to be able to add the offsets to use the ancient coordinates on most Australian maps directly. They are not WGS UTM, but about 200m out. However, on my phone (LG Optimus), it will often say "6/6 satellites visible, No Fix". And the satellites are nicely arranged, not all clumped together. I suspect a phone fault, but some better indication than "No Fix" would be good. In practice this made the phone useless for navigation. Also the compass would sometimes be 180 degrees wrong! (I carry an ordinary compass, so that does not matter.) But I stress, this may be a phone or Android problem rather than GPS Essentials. Anthony

This application iis great! I had to calibrate the compass, and this app showed me how to do it.

Ok app,but... 'Reverse bearing' and 'course from' are not 180° reversed from bearing and course. Actually those values don't make sense at all. Is tere a catch or is this a glitch.
