Comments and Ratings for Exchange by TouchDown Key

Good App, Can improve Used trial version of Touchdown and Moxier and found UI of Moxier better. But Touchdown has persistent calendar reminders, which is extremely important. Did not find any other app that does this, hence purchased it. The UI can be improved slightly, it just does not seem very professional, almost as if a college kid has written it. But functionally does everything the App should and UI is upto each user, so my views could be skewed. An my battery life increased deramatically over the native email app, which is great.

Calendar refresh not working Although I am able to get emails from my corporate Microsoft Outlook account, my calendar doesnt get refereshed. I was able to do it earlier with another SD card (incosistently though). But with change in SD card, i reinstalled this app and then onwards CAlendar refresh will never work. If there is something I need to do differently to resovle this, please let me know.

Great product and customer service! I also had an issue with my license key after flashing an ICS rom. Emailed customer support and they promptly sent me a new key!

Critical Shortcomings for Task Management Got Touchdown to sync Tasks with Outlook. Is a great app except for several critical shortcomings relative to tasks. First, you cannot create or edit recurring tasks in any way except to mark them complete. You can't even tell if a task is recurring except by finding completing it creates another instance of it in the future. Another fatal flaw is that you cannot create a category in Touchdown. Only categories that you create in Outlook are carried over by sync to Touchdown. And once a category is in Touchdown, it NEVER goes away. Even if you delete any task with that category in Outlook and delete the category itself, the category does NOT go away in Touchdown. Severely limits your use of categories especially if you like to create new ones for temporary projects (since Outlook has no project management other than categories (or folders). Last severe deficit is NO saved views or saved filters. If you want several different views of tasks, you have to repeatedly switch your filter settings back and forth. There is a lot more to Touchdown than tasks. That's why 4 stars. But for tasks, Touchdown rates only 2 or 3 stars. I am now using Ultimate To-Do List and ToodleDo.

Excellent App! The native Outlook App on Android is pretty terrible. This app is near perfect and makes outlook much more efficient.

by Candy the 1/3/2012

Does exactly what it says! This app works exactly as promised. Switching to my new phone was extremely easy, too. Worth every penny!

Great app Cant live without it. Makes my live way easier with categories from outlook/exchange. Better Graphics and phone nbr recognition within emails would be great

by Milton the 1/2/2012

Great Works fantastic!

by Jay the 1/1/2012

Needs scrollable widgets for email and calendar. App itself works fine but graphics need work. A bit cheesy looking.

by Buddy the 12/31/2011

How did I live without this app? It is so nice to be able to go into work Monday morning and have maybe 2 or 3 emails in my work email inbox rather than about 40! All because I'm able to view all my work emails at home or on the go with this app.

by Anonymous the 12/27/2011

Very good app Would love too have more themes or a function to customize themes

by Craig the 12/27/2011

Great for exchange users Finally a exchange client with rich search features. If only it could also access my other email services like Gmail.

by Randy the 12/27/2011

So much better... Than native app! Really like. HTC Thunderbolt

Email Selection I have been using Touchdown since May and preferred the email selection boxes when they were on the right of the screen, rather than on the left .
