Faster than the previous still freezes Have re-installed the but it just stops working and freezes just as it did in Froyo. Come on NYT, this is an expensive app ($13 per month)... Fix it!

Crashes continuously - Nexus S App crashes continuously on my Nexus S. I have reinstalled several times to no avail. I only use because of great content.

I have to pay for CRAPPY ads? OK, I understand that even a real printed newspaper has ads and that even though I'm paying for the content, there may be some ads. But do they have to be CRAPPY and FLASHY and DISTRACTING to the point that it is annoying to use the app?

Always "loading". Very sluggish. I often end up getting the news from other sites unless I have time to wait.

You want how much? Articles are getting "summarized", they only want the low, low price of $3.75 per week ($195 per year!) To read the news I can get elsewhere for free

Revising review again: app back to being very slow to load/hanging. Why force sync every section every single time the app loads?

Lackluster: I love the NYT, but this app is pretty disappoing. Articles load slowly and the interface is unresponsive. (Samsung Galaxy S Captivate)

Very buggy This app continues to go downhill. Now it automatically updates sections i never read and hangs most of the time i run it

I was kind of shocked by the latest update. You may not be getting accurate feedback because, for the first time, I and maybe many others simply rolled Back to the previous version. This one is, in a word, nonfunctional.

Slow Out of 40 apps I have installed this is the only one that is slow to load. But it's not just slow. It is *extremely* sluggish. Uninstalling.

Too much sucks Ads suck. Speed sucks. Diminished ability to control font size sucks. Inability to access entire site sucks. Need I go on?

Why am I forced to look at ads on a subscription I pay for? They are too big, distracting, and take away from the otherwise quality journalistic content. Worse, the updated app freezes more often than it loads.

Latest version very buggy Constantly hangs, have to force it closed. Almost impossible to use. What went wrong?
