Great offline GPS. Works great on my Nexus S 4G running 4.0.3. Its very accurate and useful when there is no data service available. Recommended.

Offline duh This is a four star app but I will give one more to offset the earlier one that said its not clear you have to initially download the maps. Duh what black magic was expected? My only issue is initial positioning is slow and it would be nice to offer torrent download of popular maps...

Not bad! It takes very long time to initially find the current location when opening the apps every times, given that I have another apps to ensure there is satellite avaliable. But once it has find the current location, it follows accurately.

Beware of data usage when downloading the maps... Maybe it's my naivety in using these kinda things but although the maps are offline - you still have to upload them to your SD card in the first instance which means you are eating into your data allowance to initially get them to your SD card. Once on your SD card, I'm sure it's fine as you are just using offline map data but beware of data usage to get it there in the first place. As I've mentioned, I'm no expert but this isn't spelt out in bold when you're viewing the app on Android Market and anyone on a tariff which charges for excess data usage could find themselves with a hefty monthly bill due to physically transferring the map data to your SD. My rating is NOT based on actual usage of this app though - just the fact that the initial data usage isn't clear when reading the info on this app page.
