Comments and Ratings for Dive Log
by A Google User the 8/13/2013

Great! Simple and straightforward, great app. Use it to keep c-card, and show logs to complement my paper log book when diving. Love that it maps my dive locations. Really need the ability to attach photos to the dive logs for dive shop stamps, or even a photo of my paper log.

Issues with Sync Love the app but have had several issues with synchronization with Dive Log 5.0.

Free it isn't I would willingly pay for this type of app, but to say it is free and not mention you have to pay after 5 dives is wrong. Also hard to find sites. Uninstalled and on my black list of apps

OK app...missing a couple of key features It's a nice app, and has almost everything you need...but being able to sync profile data and having a signature block are two things I really miss from my iOS devices. Even Windows Phone 7 has a signature block! Looking forward to updates Update: There haven't been any...since May 2012? What happened?

Good, simple, clean! Great looking basic Dive logging application. It can be used connected to internet, but also without direct link/network availability. I have a short wishlist, but I would recommend the application now for what it is worth... a great tool. (Extra things are ... extra, not needed.)

Brodoug Been looking for good app so I can record dives while still on boat.

Dive Picture Overall great. Just think about to add pic for every log. Hopefully for the next update.

Lacking functionality and simplicity This app is not even a close resemblance of its IOS counterpart. I was using Divelog on my Apple, and when I switched to Android I was delighted to see Divelog is also available. Only to find out the synchronization is tedious and clunky. My personal information, Dive sites, equipment and dive types from Divelog is not transferred. I'm hoping that this Android app catches up to the IOS one! Direct synchronization with Divelog would be a great start.

Lost log, no backup I got the ICS upgrade, and had to reinstall the app. Now my logs are all gone.

Good, but some more development would make it a must-have.. For 5 stars it would need an option to attach dive photos, divemaster signatures and dc stamps (via attaching photos would be fine), cloud sync for multiple devices and some minor corrections should be made to dive info entry interface. otherwise very good and useful.

Great App Been using for over a year. If possible would like to see in future update, on multiple dives at same site, show the number of dives on the the flag. Overall, excellent app.

Dive Master Signature Block Just add this and it would be really good.

Awful imports from Diving Log 5.0 Dives missing. Much data not placed in proper fields. Useless.

Some big gaps The App is ok, but there are too many gaps to be realy usable. - When entering certification the place for pictures canot be filled directly with the camera. An the rendering of the pics is awfull (Image ratio is not maitained). - When you are on a dive site there is no way to press a button to locate it with GPS and capture the location. - The form for each dive is filled with details - The way to capture the deco is very painful - Finalyy the limitations of the free version does not encourage me to go to the paid one. 5 dives max, I dive 10 time is a week... a bit useless. For all these reasons I remove it from my apps collection

Wonderful app! This is a wonderful app that does everything I need. There is one feature I would like and that is a signature area. I use a nexus 7 tab and it would be absolutely perfect if I could get signatures.

by A Google User the 9/24/2012

Needs some things. Could use some things like transfer from PC log software, dive sites repository, signature block, site list, import csv, import dives from backup without wiping current ones, and an edit mode for multiple dives.

by A Google User the 9/20/2012

Missing sync options This app would have been fantastic if I could sync it with my main diving log app. Currently I use MacDive, and there are no sane export/import functions in Dive Log that I can use with it.

So far so good... It's free quit your bitchin

by A Google User the 8/5/2012

Ah lot better than paper! Only 2 things would make this much better for me (and my friends) to use: allowing a mix of metric and imperial (eg: celcius, pounds, psi, meters), and being able to select the fields to display.
