Comments and Ratings for FTPServer

Simple & Perfect What a great FTP server. It doesn't interrogate your personal info. like others do. Highly recommended.

Very handy Smaller is better!

. Works perfectly with window XP pro.

Need more! Yet another FTP server. It works OK but I need more. There's a feature that I need but no FTP server has implemented it yet. I need the server to start automatically in the background when my phone is connected to a specific WiFi and stops/quits quietly when my phone is disconnected from the WiFi network. Currently I used "automateit" app which is like "tasker" but there are 2 problems 1. It opens the UI whenever starts the server 2. it can not stop/close the FTP server for some reason.

Works... sorta. Couldn't connect with Chrome, tried the command line FTP client on Mac OSX. That worked ok for a bit but it got confused at some point. Once I managed to transfer a file it was astonishingly slow - 131k/sec over wifi from a galaxy tab.

by Roman the 10/30/2011

Something missing Seems like it doesn't support passive mode and resume uploading.

by mycelo the 10/23/2011

works but... Does not answer properly to some commands, some clients (like chrome) report error or take too long to proceed.

by kintaro the 10/22/2011

Works well, but.. When transferring files, impossible to blank the screen. When I blank the screen, it "wakes up" every 15-20 seconds This of course, eats up battery fast

Awesome Great program, appears to work fine. No bogus permissions.

by Karolis the 10/6/2011

Awesome app for those who don't like cables.

by /' '\ordor the 10/6/2011

Total Crap. Connects but never lists the files. DroidX. The other FTP app actually works.

by Michael the 10/5/2011

Flash Great! A must have. If its too big for you move to a better phone. Or go to a iphone then you can not only cry about the size but not have flash!!!

by Didder Bodder the 9/27/2011

Great app! Love, love, love this app....

by Arzakem the 9/17/2011

Setup and connect. That's all you need to do. I particularly like the fact that you can leave the port open while doing something else on your phone.

by albert the 9/12/2011

Great! This ftp server is wonderful. Makes it very easy to transfer stuff to and from my Android phone. No more texting pictures to my email, which ends up being compressed. Now I can just ftp into my phone to get the 8MP pictures. :)

by Matt the 9/10/2011

Best android FTP server I've found Has features others don't like enabling only for certain networks. Also autostarts service on open.

by Bob the 9/4/2011

Greasy Personally never had any problem. Fast and easy as FTP services go. Usually use Filezilla client.
