Still requires root when so much malware has Android root access! Also dvc clock stalled in Gingerbread on evo 4G (gps-based, still). No ntp fetch.

This app actually has a QUIT option in the menu! But displays lots of technical info that isn't readily understandable by the non-geek. No help file.

There's no option to sync the device clock with this app even if rooted

Outstanding app. Displayed time is in lockstep with www.time.gov. Andriod currently will not allow app to set phone clock. Oh well.

Lukas is wrong, Froyo doesn't allow non-system apps to set time. If you have root, try ClockSync.

setting the clock is possible in froyo, could you implement this for froyo users and keep compatibility for lower api versions?

Nice technical overview of live NTP data. However, the usefulness of the application is limited because it does not set device time on rooted phones.
