EXACTLY what I have been looking for, thank you! I have tried just about every reader on the market, and the killer feature of this is that not only can you use text-to-speech (TTS) to have it read to you, but when you turn of the screen it continues to read! Every other reader with TTS just does not get it. Thank you for this great app -- very stable, very pretty, exactly what I need for university! Next stop: Gold Donation for this developer. Please support him.

I LOVE this app! I use this app to read books aloud with ivona voice text to speech while I work. You can switch seamlessly from audio to visual or both. Great interface too. Top marks! HTC Desire HD

Shuts off Before I even get to use it keeps closing when trying to load documents! What's the point!:(

One of the best out there I've been using Cool Reader for a few months now and I must say, I'm impressed for the features this software packs for an open-source project. Plus the rapid development cycle helps in ironing out the bugs fast. Way better than FBReader, Aldiko or Moon Reader. Now all we need are a synchronization feature between the desktop version and the smartphone version of Cool Reader, option to use custom fonts and improve the formatting of some ePUBs. Cheers, mate. Excellent work! And for those who complain that this version's a bit on the bad side, download it from the developer's site. It's always newer than the market version.

Kjbryant Which I could give no stars. Can't open 1of 16 books. Said it is loading and nothing happens. Yeah real cool....installing. App sucks...

Excellent Excellent reader I have come across. Can open files of any readable format. Read out loud is is the best feature.

Can't load large CHM Attempting to load a 4.8meg CHM file fails. Moon Reader+ is able to load the file but the interface is useful for that size of file. Still looking.

Dimming After few days of reading the screen is becoming almost black. Only night mode is ok. Reinstallation helps to get back to normal, but need to do it on weekly basis. Got tired of it.

It was ok for the most part. Simple to use. It didn't have some options I would have preferred, so I switched to Moon+ Reader instead. HTC EVO 4G

So dumb not even a child can use it Dumbest app ever. It's impossible to figure out how to use it to browse for book and there isn't even a help file. Pointless & mostly useless.
