Comments and Ratings for HTML Test
by A Google User the 11/1/2012

I'd Could not open.

by A Google User the 6/30/2012

Not bad, but out of date Many of these questions cover old, deprecated html. At times, it appears to be targeting XHTML, but then said that the <head> tag could be case insensitive. This is incorrect for any XHTML. Also, it asks a question about "Internet Explorer's broken box model". This hasn't been the case since IE6, and only in quirks mode. There was a question regarding <meta> keywords tags, stating that these help with search engine rankings, but these have been ignored by major search engines for more than a decade. The whole app appears as though the questions are from 2001, and should really be updated, as well as grammatical errors fixed. Not something I would give my students

by A Google User the 2/18/2012

Bad Questions are not sorted well. There is a lot of css and many questions about deprecated things like "frameset". <b> is also deprecated but that was my wrong answer according to the app. There are some other wrong answers too. People don't need to know this stuff anymore. Html looks different today. Also when I reviewed my wrong answers sometimes tells me what the right one was but sometimes not.

Takes 4ever to load ...I quit waiting and just uninstalled

by A Google User the 12/9/2011

Good for training and self-education! I recently started learning HTML so this app became very useful.

Non standard question? And bad design of ui, ie. No indication of more choice

by A Google User the 12/3/2010

All the answers to the 1st question used capital letters for tags. Uninstalling now.

by A Google User the 9/22/2010

Cool test.. scored 100

by A Google User the 8/22/2010

Rife with ancient, non-valid code examples, this should be avoided. Uninstalled.

by A Google User the 7/18/2010

Needs to support app2sd considering file size and simplicity of app. Great idea, poor execution.

by A Google User the 5/11/2010

Questions need to follow standards. Senders should be shown when test is stopped.

by A Google User the 5/5/2010

pretty good. More relevant questions than my actual CIW test. 4* stars because questions about deprecated tags are irrelevant.

by A Google User the 4/11/2010

Good idea, but poor execution. Be upfront about what you are testing. Strict xhtml vs. transistional. It is confusing. Also the ui is unreadable.

by A Google User the 3/19/2010

Nice, but should add more questions from HTML5. And definitelly improve GUI 8-)

by A Google User the 3/8/2010

Nice practice

by A Google User the 3/5/2010

Crap. Do a strict XHTML version and don't quiz on depricated / useless information

by A Google User the 12/11/2009

Repeats questions in different forms. Code is not xhtml!

by A Google User the 11/19/2009

Awesome exemplary app! I would love an app like this one for java c++. If none i guess i will have to code them. Great work guys!!

by A Google User the 9/25/2009

Keeps repeating the same questions, but still a good app. I knew html anyway b4 i got this so the questions werent hard at all. Got a C++ app??

by A Google User the 9/12/2009

Questions repeat too often, why include xhtml?
