Aspartame is classified as safe? It looks like the author of this application believes that poison.(aspartame) is safe if you take it in small doses... :( If aspartame is classified as safe, then I don't know if you can trust the rest of the information in this application.

Great! The app is really great and serves its purpose, as a vegan Im often finding myself in doubt, but no more. My only 'dislike' is the yellow color of the icons, its not always easy to take a quick look, as its somewhat hard to distinguish from the green, maybe an orange would do the job better. Either way,5 stars from here and a thank you for making our life easier

HCl Hydrochloric acid is made by the human body and forms part of stomach acid, of course it is safe in foods. Do your research.

Would like a vs where i can add personal info, eg I know 627 is bad for my kids ( behaviour) yet it is shown as safe. Otherwise great.

MSG is safe. I'm only posting this review because it annoyed me that so many people are going on about MSG. The app is absolutely correct. All the people giving out have clearly bought into media claims without doing their own research. The Wikipedia page alone explains how claims against MSG are based on anecdotal evidence and any real studies have not shown MSG to be dangerous when consumed at normal levels.
