Excellent, could be improved Another useful addition would be haptic feedback (the little "buzz" that let you know you've pressed a key) when the record button is pushed. If you talk too quickly, it loses the first word of your voice memo. If the record button were to glow yellow for half a second before it glowed red, maybe this would clue us in to not speak for half a second...

Eager to try but can't get widget to load. Samsung Moment. Home, menu, 'add' is grayed-out. Maybe cuz i DLd 'Rehearsal' first?

Well worth the purchase. I have not experienced drop audio. Nice to have quick access to recording. HTC Eris

@dan: true, if you are doing other things on the phone while recording, the recording quality can decrease.

Mentioned before, but recording from the widget is very glitched, constant audio chunks r dropped.

It does indeed record and playback but it is so quiet it is useless for school lectures which is what I wanted it for.

Voice Recorder seems to do more, has a screen widget and is free. Just saying. Still excellent if you want to use Rehearsal apparently (free)

Easy, quick voice notes while I drive. Use recorder without looking @ your phone. The only app I actually paid for!

Best audio recorder ive found. Developer is quick to answer questions/suggestions. Mic level control should be next

Nice work! 'Play' functions as a shortcut, but 'record' works great from the home screen w/out having to open app & autosaves file. Not 2 big either!

Not a true widget. It's just a shortcut to the app. I can create my own shortcut at a third of the real estate this thing takes up on home screen.
