If it doesnt work re-root the phone, AND it does hide apps after restarting the launcher. Has worked great fpr 6 months now.

Unfortunately it disables the app rather than simply hiding it from the launcher so not for me. Great to disable apps instead of uninstalling them.

Great app, very useful. However I noticed the lock feature is broken; after you unlock it once, it remains unlocked until you reset the lock password.
