Are you using a video player like Rock Player that supports external subtitles (.srt) but wont read your internal subtitles in mkv files?

Then you can use this application to extract your subtitle from the mkv file and save it as a plain srt file.

mVideoPlayer can do this but it only works on phones like Samsung Galaxy S.

Useful since every android video player lies about mkv subs support.

Couldn't open the file in mvideo so I extracted the sub and watched it with something else!

Great stuff. Could be 6 stars(?!) if it allows queuing of files. Certain mkv files cannot be used with this however. Pity.

Works great extracting fansubs from mkv files and converting them into srt files to be played on mvideoplayer
