Strategic board game.

Play the ancient game Go (Weiqi, Igo, Baduk) against your computer.

User interface for GNU Go (v3.8 included).
GNU Go is an AI engine that plays Go at about 8 to 12 kyu strength.

Features:
- play against human or computer opponent
- choose from one of ten AI strengths
- different board sizes
- adjustable handicap and Komi
- Japanese and Chinese scoring rules
- one-touch board zoom
- DPAD navigation
- unlimited undo/redo of moves
- highlighting of last three moves

Best free go app For English user, it is best go app. The computer is okay, not as trivial as "Go Free". The computer is not as hard as "WegoIgo", but it is too easy to press wrongly in WegoIgo. GOdroid has made the game okay in every aspect. The Chinese translation is inconsistent and totally rubbish. Chinese players should read English first whether possible. For other comments: It is very easy to learn go online. This game do not need much inline tutorial (most chess game do not have inline tutorial as well).

Best on market, but takes up 6.6 MB even with install to SD (space is very precious on the Desire).

Best Go app for Android I've found. Uses Gnu Go engine so decent strength. Nice. And my version installs to SD. :)

Having a problem where the ai crashes in the middle of the game. I have to clear the program data and start again.

I can beat gofree on level 10 but this beats me on level 1! Great AI! Maybe I'll have to reduce its komi...

No menu options. Cant play a full sized board.

Good, but the scoring is terrible It frequently fails to mark a few points as being part of my territory when using Chinese rules.
