ERG (verb): the act of casually creating fresh drum sounds and beats using Wag's Euclidean Rhythm Generator.

Within moments of booting up, it's possible to generate an abstract, ambient, or idm loop. The sound mixes perfectly in open air with a Buddha Machine or sx150 synth, for example.

INSTRUCTIONS: (1) hit "add sound" (2) randomize the sound's color and sequence to your liking (3) hit the radar to return to the black screen & add more sounds (4) hit the color blocks to play a sound and return to it's controls for further modification.

BACKGROUND: Sounds are randomized with DrPetter's SFXR ... "an MS Paint for sound effects." Sequences are randomized using Toussaint's concept of generating traditional world music beats via the Euclidean Algorithm, which "reveals a tantalizing pattern."

I love the randomness of the sounds Wish there was a few more features, mixer, part loop, save/load, effects. Love it love it, more please!

Makes noises but not really musical, yet. Has potential though. Needs more controls, timing and configurability.

Very good polyrhythm generator Very good polyrhythm generator, for experimental use, which is the best use anyway. Would like the abiity to load own samples, a mixer, and tempo control. I encourage the developer to keep up the terrific work.

Would pay for this if: ability to make clock larger. Touch sensitive clock so you can speed up slow down reverse or scratch the beat. Ability to save

I really like this can you please add volume faders for each sound maybe? And I like to overlap it with other apps so please don't let it kill on exit
