OpenDocument Reader, formerly known as OpenOffice Document Reader, allows you to read your ODF documents wherever you are. In the bus on your way to school? No problem! With OpenDocument Reader you can read and search through your documents in a very clean and simple way.

“ODF” is the format used by office suites like OpenOffice and LibreOffice. Both text documents (.odt) and spreadsheets (.ods) are supported, including support for formatting and embedded images. Password-protected documents are no problem either.

For the time being, OpenDocument Reader does NOT support presentations (.odp files), nor does it support editing your documents. These features may or may not become available at some point in the future.

Average Was able to view a document, but the program fails even to display tables properly. And the controls are implemented badly - the tab on the left kept popping up whenever I tried to move around the document. It seems that users are expectdd to not to start their movements around their document by sliding their finger straight to the right. This is quite an awkward solution.

Working as advertised for me I can't speak to other situations, but this is working great for me. My current phone is a Samsung Admire which is low powered and minimal memory, so it should be a good test. I have only two suggestions. First, the back button should lead to a main screen of some sort instead of taking you out of the program entirely. I instinctively use that button to go back after viewing a document. Second, the file selector that pops up when trying to open documents from a particular location, such as Dropbox, should filter out all file types that the app can't open. All in all, it does what it is supposed to.

Worked for my Asus 700 Opened an .ods file no problem. Took a minute or so to open, just like it said.. works fine on jelly bean.
