Worked like a charm. Set alarm, and it went off once I reached that location and reminded me what I needed to do there. Finally the app I wanted.

shanghai-wise there's a significant misalignment between the google maps (correct) and the todonearby maps (uncorrect and misaligned also with sat)

Really good idea for an app, well set up and user friendly. only prob is app doesn't release GPS even after exiting.
