Good idea. Works good on my Samsung Galaxy S i9003, but I don't know why you are using the camera as completely covering the camera still gives readings, seems like your application depends on the tiny vibrations transmitted through the body upon each heart contraction sensed by the accelerometer!! Not so accurate!

Simple and effective - has its own calibration so it worked on my Desire-S when others didn't

No GPS Installed the old version since the new one requires GPS.
