It works, but have to be careful The app simply puts your phone on silent when you open it and turns back on after.. So saves time switching to silent and back again. It worked on my phone with android 2.3, but once it didn't shut down properly and had to turn on sound again.

Motorola Electrify silences shutter however it places the phone in silent mode. you have to manually go into settings to turn the ringtone back on, that sucks....please fix. otherwise great
