DaTuner is an all-purpose chromatic tuner with a simple interface. DaTuner converts the fundamental frequency to the nearest note and error in cents for quick and easy tuning of your guitar, ukelele, kazoo, etc.
Nearest note is displayed in a giant, easy to read font in the center of the screen, while both instantaneous and a running average of the error in cents is shown on a status bar at the bottom of the screen. Sensitivity can be adjusted by touch via a bar on the left-hand side of the screen, and the speed/accuracy of the algorithm and the relative frequency (if other than 440Hz) can be adjusted via the menu.
These are the first (alpha) releases of DaTuner, and the first Android App for me, (and it's free and ad free!); So, if you could just go ahead and send any bug reports and/or feature requests to me instead of instantly giving it a poor rating, that would be great, thanks.
DaTuner was tested with an X10 Mini Pro, a 6-string guitar, and various sample waveforms (sinusoids, piano samples, etc.) but as this testing was obviously not exhaustive, I do appreciate any and all feedback.
Recent changes:
1.) Fixed reference frequency setting (wasn't actually doing anything in previous release)
2.) Save settings when rotating so they can be restored.
3.) Some refactoring done which should improve stability when pausing / restarting.
4.) Frequency display displays a running average rather than instantaneous frequency for ease of reading.
