tinyPlayer is a small lightweight music and audio book / podcast player with file / folder based navigation and not through broken or missing audio metadata tags. This app can also play every format of audio streams that are supported by android where other apps have problems. It is super small but without lacking any features you would expect. If you don't like bloatware, this is for you.

Really good, but buggy I love this player, but it has several issues. First, it often stops when running in background and loses it's current playback position (really frustrating with audiobooks). Also, it always crashes on start up on ICS on Asus Prime. Finally, I would love to see a gapless playback option on it. Other than that, many thanks to the dev. Keep it up!

The only one simple music player in whole market This app reminds me the "folder player" on NOKIA, both plays music by folder and list them by chars. Those who don't care about tags and album arts have no other option but install this. Furthermore, this might be the only music player with "go back / forward" buttons, which are very required when you are listening audio files for learning foreign languages. Isn't it surprising that this is the only one app with above two very simple functions? However, two things are must be fixed. 1. App sometimes stops working. but not frequently. So, still worth to use this app 2. ugly icon. Both icons on app list and notification bar are too ugly. see what's on left top of this page, really ugly. I even prefer nothing but black square box...

Item height Like it, but please make the file list like original player, items with fixed height. It's difficult to hit the files with short file names and the ones with long are too big
