Septa is the transit service for Philadelphia and its surrounding counties. SeptaDroid helps you find your next regional rail train and tells you if its late. SeptaDroid contains schedule data for all buses, subways, trolleys in the Philly area.

This app is not affiliated with Septa.

Explanation of permissions

permission.INSTALL_SHORTCUT
allows app to install shortcut on you home screen

android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
Both used to find your closest station

android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
used by the ads so they aren't running when display is off

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
android.permission.INTERNET
used to download and store schedule data on you sdcard

android.permission.VIBRATE
Used by the wake up service

It works, but can be off... Give yourself a little extra time to get to the station to check the schedule.

Very good but some trains missing Overall this is great and I use it daily, but some trains (3:17pm Suburban to Newark DE) are not listed
