Chess Genius Very strong. Overall my favorite chess app.

Fair... I paid for it but I'm not too happy with it. To set up a board for a study is three screens away. I'm still baffled as to how to open a pgn database. In the analysis level it gives a single line... Good opponent, definitely!

... Like the UI but even on instant CPU is too strong.also app can not backup. Fails to backup.

#1 I've played around 10 different chess games and this one is my favorite.

Shredder is better Shredder is much stronger and better. I recommend shredder than this if you looking for strong algorithm and tactics. I played shredder (2600 level) against pc deep fritz13 (level 13 depth) and shredder wins easily and draw with (level 14 depth). Also I played chessgenius level (think in 5 second) against deep fritz13 (level 10) and it lose easily. I will ask for refund.

Super powerful opponent Simply awesome! As good or on par with shredder, having a pocket grandmaster for under $8 bucks is simply insane.
