Cobra iRadar for Android is the first radar/laser/camera detector that integrates with your Android Smartphone. Using Bluetooth wireless technology, your phone pairs to the Cobra iRadar Detection Unit (iRAD 105) to give you full protection against radar and laser guns, speed and red light camera locations, known speed traps and dangerous intersections.

Features:

Cobra iRadar App:

•  Alerts to speed & red light cameras, known speed traps, and dangerous intersections
•  Displays visual alerts from the detector on your smartphone *
•  Controls radar detector settings from your smartphone *
•  Overlays alert history on the radar map view

Cobra iRadar Detector Unit:

•  Detects all radar & laser guns used by Law Enforcement
•  Provides full 360-degree protection
•  Reduces false alerts with City/Highway Mode

* Note: Certain functionalities of this app are only available when linked to a Cobra iRadar Detector unit.

This app is only compatible with Cobra iRadar for Android (iRAD 105).  It will not work with the iRAD 100, which is designed for Apple® products.  To purchase a Cobra iRadar detector unit go to www.cobrairadar.com or enter the store page on the app.

This app supports OS versions 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 for cell phones.  Tablets are not supported at this time.

Is getting there! Iphone port, Full screen, no notification bar! Get a msg email etc you will have to exit and come back, kinda sucks driving along listening to google music navigating and want to be alerted when off screen, noooooo nada! Come on guys nice try but write a real android app! Road warriors like me need to multitask! It did run on my xoom but has quit and now shows up un-compatible. Few minor changes will make it rock! 1. Multitask 2. show notification bar! 3. Add ability to report a cop (wow done)

Pairing with Bluetooth Hi Kasia, you will need to pair the iRadar device from the phone settings->wireless and network->bluetooth settings. Once your phone scans and finds the iRadar, click on it to pair. The app is not needed to simply pair the iRadar device and please note, this process is only needed to be done once. Once paired, simply launch the app and the app would make a connection automatically to be able to transmit/receive any data. Thx!

Works now.. Works much better now that I got Gingerbread on my Tbolt! Crashed a lot on Froyo. Thanks for this cool app and iRadar!
