Here is the new and updated Calendar Widget. Can display appointments from multiple Google calendars, along with todays date and current week. Highlights current appointment.
Froyo supported and with the possibility of getting notifications.

The calendar doesn't appear on my Desire The calendar doesn't show among my apps so I can't use it in any way. It does, however, show in settings->applications so I can uninstall it. How do I get a refund?

OK app. Date disappears sometimes, though. Could use more customization options.

Did not work. No date shown. No refund allowed .... bad app ..... T-Mobile G2.
