Measure volumes in your environment with this fun and well-designed app. Adjust the "trim" value to calibrate your microphone, save your settings, and adjust the response rate (slow or fast). View max/min/average decibel values, and "pause" the meter to see values at any particular state using the on/off button.

User controls unresponsive. Trim-minus button infuriates. Refund, please.

Not working on my Nexis one. Meter doesn't move. On/off switch doesn't work and I get a not responding force close if I try to go to settings.

I always wanted something like this when the music hurts my ears. But little docs, especially how to calibrate. No A weighting. Minor layout issues.
