Privacy: The read contacts permission is used to get a list of names for you to copy into the list of gift recipients so you won't have to type them. The contacts information is not stored or sent anywhere. The Internet permission is used exclusively to send barcode numbers to Google to retrieve product names.

Note: It is not possible to sync contact birthdays, because Android doesn't have a standard method for storing them. Each phone manufacturer has a unique storage format.

Great app needs pictures Love it!! Suggestions: be able to take a picture or better yet, have picture scanned in with the barcode.

Amazing! I just purchased this app and already have all my Christmas gifts organized! I have been using the upgraded Astrid for years and have found it to be very tedious for gift organizing. I can hardly wait to do some more shopping so I can scan my gifts as I buy them.

Great Interface with one big issue The barcode scanner simply does not work. I have tried 10-15 upc's and they all comeback with product name could not be found . However using another gift list app works perfectly fine and the same products are added without issue. I hope the developer gets this fixed soon as I would really rather use this app instead of the other one.

At last... At last someone has developed an app to help manage gift purchases that is not a riot of colourful clip-art. This app is both pleasant to look at and use but, more importantly, spot on in terms of functionality! If I were to granted one wish... I would love it to sync between devices. Not a showstopper as it's dead easy to mail the file between devices.

Like it Ok I am rescinding my previous review about the password issue. I reinstalled it and set a password to avoid that problem and advise others to do the same. Now that I've used it it is an excellent way to track gifts for multiple people and multiple occasions. The interface is clean and easy to use.

Good app Love this app, very helpful! Having issues lately when I go to scan something in for a gift all I get is "product could not be found" so I have to type in manually. I use to be able to scan stuff in. Please fix, thanks!
