Turn your Android phone camera or remote camera into a visual motion triggered SpyCam. Your phone or remote camera will auto-capture (still photo or video) any motion within its field of vision, and then save or email the photo/video.  Can be used as a serious surveillance solution, as this application has already caught several criminals in the act of stealing cars and breaking into houses.  Can also be used to take candid snaps of your friends when they don't know they are on camera - now that is some good fun!

FEATURES

Does what it says This app does what it's supposed to, but it needs serious attention from a UX designer; the GUI needs a complete re-do. I was turned off but I had no time to investigate alternatives, so please use my $4.50 to buy a beer for a UX designer and ask him/her lots of questions.

Great for home security Excellent app which lets me use my old Android phone to watch my house so I don't have to but an expensive security system. By the way, if you get an SSL certificate error, make sure your phone's date is correct. Mine wasn't as I used an old phone that hadn't been charged for months.

Great app! Had this for months. Samsung Tab 2. No complaints! Easy to use, fairly easy to configure what settings you need adjust. Options superb.

Best of the bunch I setup a tablet mounted to a wall and needed something to use the front-facing camera to watch for motion and email me with the image. SECuRET SpyCam was the best of the bunch (vs. Motion Detector Pro, Camera Trigger, Motion Detector, Mobile Alarm System, Surveillance - I actually tried them all). Easy setup and enough options (setting level of detection, image size, wait time so you don't get too many images). Since my tablet is in a set-it-and-forget-it mode (I don't have regular access to it) the option of just emailing the image without storing it is just what I needed (so storage doesn't fill up when I'm not there).
