DrinkedIn BarFinder

DrinkedIn™ is the internet home for lovers of all things alcoholic. It combines the fun of a slightly rebellious social network with detailed listing and reviews for pubs and drinks from all around the world. DrinkedIn.net already has listings of over 150,000 bars and pubs in the US, UK, Brazil, Australia, Canada and other countries and more are going up all the time. Soon we plan to have listings and reviews of different brands of whiskeys (scotches, bourbons, Irish, etc), wine, beer, vodka and other liquors. This all adds up to a great place for bar and pub reviews and reviews on beer, wine, scotch whisky, bourbon, vodka and more.

The DrinkedIn BarFinder™ is an Android application that will help you find a bar near your location (or any location for that matter). Need to find a good drink? No problem, just turn on your GPS and fire up the DrinkedIn BarFinder. The Bar Finder will find all bars around your location and present you with opportunities to find out more about those bars including directions on how to get there.

Simple operation:
GPS mode - using GPS, you leave the Address box empty and click on the "I'm Thirsty!" button.
non-GPS mode - planning to be in another location or don't want to use the GPS, just enter an address into the address box and then click on "I'm Thirsty!"

Once you are presented with different choices, just click on any bar icon for more information including a link to the bar's entry on DrinkedIn or a link to get directions using Google Maps.

We have more plans in the future including the ability to submit reviews directly from the application (currently only possible on the website) and to support bar menus (e.g. "find bars around me serving a specific brand of beer")
