You can help ADW and LauncherPro theme developers by installing this simple app. It scans the apps on your phone and anonymously sends that data to be added to a database so that theme developers can easily get the information they need when making icon packs.

You can see the result of this project at http://activities.droidicon.com

The information that is sent looks like this:
Maps
Latitude
com.google.android.apps.maps
com.google.android.maps.LatitudeActivity

What theme developers get out of it is a fast, searchable database. When they make an icon for your favorite app (the one you've been waiting for since you installed their theme), instead of jumping through hoops to find the right name for the image file, they just go to the web site, search for the name of the app, and find the correct name for the icon e.g. com_google_android_maps_latitudeactivity.png

Great idea - definitely needed! This is a great application to help the people who aren't lazy (i.e. not me) create great themes for all of us! Kudos to Jon for creating this and sharing the results openly with everybody, all for free!

@Avi email me the package names of the apps you want removed. I'll take them out and block them server side until I can make an in-app option.

Very cool. Glad to help. The should explicitly say what it's doing. It just uploaded activities without confirming. I have apps I don't want listed.
