Great alternative to Foogle! It would be nice if they added an off and on setting for voice commands. That's for people who can't spell what they are searching for or just plain lazy.

Great app Great app and search engine! Thank you. I would love to change the colors of the widget. Also, I would appreciate the addition of a microphone icon on the widget so I can voice search with 1 tap. Thanks!

Google Search KILLER!!! By far the best search engine and overall online company I've had the pleasure of discovering in years. Finally an online company with some solid values..which focus on the online users freedom of choice and not the other way around. DuckDuckGo...or what I like to call it.."Google Search KILLER!". (FYI- Long time d.duckgo user..so I'm speaking from experiance..great website).

DDG is great My only complaint is the gaudy widget. I hope to see perhaps a monochrome and transparent version of the widget eventually, so that it will fit in to other color schemes. Until then, it has to stay off my homescreen.

Best alternative In world dominated by only one company a lot of other names get to play around, but only DuckDuckGo makes it to my list of real alternatives to Google's search engine. DDG offers a safe, fun, tracking and bubble free search experience, supported by a nice community, openness and creator. This app is essential for DDG fans in order to replace the Google Search widget on your Android. Sadly I must say it doesn't scale perfectly to my screen, the search icon looks squished.

Excellent Awesome app, only suggestion is that it should launch when I press the search hardware button on my handset. Not sure if this is possible but it would be excellent.
