idealista.com, the leading real estate website in Spain, now makes it easy to search for housing using this application designed for android. it’s especially useful when you're out on the street and want to know if there is a suitable property in the surrounding area.

the idealista.com application allows you to:

- locate all the available flats and houses advertised near your exact position, thanks to the iPhone and iPad geopositioning capabilities. it searches in a maximum radius of 10 kilometers and offers a list of properties in order of proximity to your location

- search for flats and houses in a designated area through a search engine, where you can enter the street and the town you want and obtain a list of residences in that area (even if you're not there at the moment)

- filter housing according to a wide range of criteria

- check the listing’s details, view a map of the property’s location and contact the advertiser

- enjoy the image gallery with a much more visual and intuitive format

the application’s new design has significantly increased the number of filters and the ability to sort the listings by proximity, height, bedrooms, etc. furthermore, the details of each advert is now greater and a new image gallery and a list detailing your last search has been added. likewise, the synchronization with the idealista.com website has improved the stability of the application


handy tips:
- remember that when you search a specific area you have to type it in the search box as if you were searching in google maps
- if you only get a few results, try modifying the filters or expanding the search radius
- to access your account, enter your password carefully because phone keypads can be very touchy (pay special attention if your password has uppercase / lowercase letters and / or special characters)
