Chalk is a note taking application that prides itself in being simple and clean. The goal is to allow you to quickly take notes while on the go, and easily sync them with the services you use. For now, the application only supports Ubuntu One, but will include other services in the near future.

Note: This application is in beta, and you will encounter issues. Please report all bugs to the Launchpad website (See Developer Website).

This application will be open source, in just a few weeks. Please see the Launchpad project for more info.

Does not upload notes. Destroys text format.

A little better but New notes added in chalk don't show up in tomboy using ubuntu one sync, even after pressing refresh!!

Awesome!!! This works VERY well, for those that can't get it to sync new notes to U1, just click refresh every time you add a note and it will upload them.

Force close when no net connection. How can i read notes even no connection.

I love the idea of UbuntuOne integration, but app just "force close", never runs. Galaxy S. Android 2.3 official firmware. Will try again though

If you can nail the force close bugs this will be a five star for me, very simple note taking with ubuntu one sync, lovely!
