This unique app allows you to sync a set of folders from your Android device to the cloud and back. It currently supports the Dropbox storage service, as well as your own FTP, SFTP, FTPS servers. The official Dropbox app is *not* needed.

Innovative "setup & forget" sync engine with these features:
• Battery friendly.
• Works on ALL Android devices.
• Will NOT slow down your device when no data changes.
• Will backup your new/modified files (eg: photos, videos) in the background, as soon as possible.
• Adapts to ever-changing connectivity and power conditions.
• Powerful filtering features (by file type, size, etc).

Supports 2 different sync modes (both are one-way):
• Continuous sync from Local to Remote.
• One-shot sync from Remote to Local.

Compatible with all Android versions (1.5 and up).

Limitations:

Pretty good I really like this app. I sync every pic and video I take to my home pc. The conditions need some work though. Still uploads even when I'm NOT connected to WiFi/when not charging. Fix that and its a 5 star app.

Not working on ICS Tried both on my Gnex running Miui v4 and on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 running CM9, fails to connect both via FTP and FTPS, app force closes as soon as a connection is made.

Needs Work I bought this to sync my clockworkmod recovery files to Dropbox automatically but it fails midway everytime. However, I am also using it to sync videos and photos to custom folders on my SD to Dropbox and it seems to be working well for that purpose. It is also very slow over Wifi compared to a manual sync using the Dropbox app. The UI is not intuitive and could use some work but you will eventually find the desired settings. I would like to give it a higher rating because I also use Ti Backup Pro which is an excellent product but Media Sync needs some work IMHO.

Excellent Your app is the only one that works for me! I’m syncing 29 folders 14,637 files (100MB) from my FTP to my phone. No other APP could do it! They’d crash, stall out, or keep re-downloading all my files. Thank You!

Love it! I have quite a few automated backups kick off early in the morning, and this app has always synced them before I wake up. Config seemed straight forward to me, and the few issues I do see are usually me pushing the boundaries of my wifi at the time it tries to sync. Does everything I wanted it to do, and personally its worth more than what it cost me =) a very happy user here.

Best I could find for the task Seems to work as advertised. UI is clunky and needs a scheduling component. I couldn't get it to connect to a non-standard port for my private SFTP server over the internet, but on my internal network it connects and transfers just fine.

Nice idea, but DROPBOX??? I have not been able to use the product because of the problems I am having with DROPBOX. Their 'support forum' is full of people complaining about all sorts of things .. there is little to no attention given by Dropbox, and there are no replies to support tickets. My impression of DROPBOX is it is a piece of garbage at this point. It won't even install ... 'Installation aborted' about 1/3 of the way through on an XP computer AND on a W7 32-bit computer. Installed fine on W7-64. NO HELP from Dropbox. Titanium .. good product .. association with DROPBOX .. big mistake.

Nagging There's apparently no way to tell this thing I don't wish to set up an account and to leave me alone. I will set up an account when I and in the mood, not before. uninstalling to get it to stfu.

Good but not great Syncs with Dropbox well, doesn't sync as well to my own SFTP server. Doesn't always detect wifi state properly, often thinks I am on 3G when I am actually connected to a WiFi network. Wish I could schedule the sync, and wish I could get a daily notification on sync sucessful or sync fail.
