Epistle is a simple and clean text editor that can sync all your notes with Dropbox.

It also supports the Markdown language, with a live preview of your notes.

Main features:
- easily manage your notes
- sync your notes with Dropbox
- share notes with other apps
- import text from other apps
- view or edit your notes in fullscreen mode
- view a live HTML preview of your Markdown formatted notes (must be enabled from preferences)

* Currently there are synching issues with notes containing accented, non-Latin or special characters in their title. I'm working to fix this.

* To correctly work with Dropbox and MS Windows, a note title can't contain the following characters:
/ \ | > < : ? * " ;

Open any text file Great app, one of the nicest text editors in market. Dear developers, please make Epistle appear in Open with... app list and be selectable as default when opening a textual file. Once I uninstalled because the lack of this feature but came back to request that

Very nice!! Thesis app is a vary nice one! Since I don't really need the sync function, it's not bothering me in any way...

Great app This is a great app - nice and simple to use and flexible to meet almost any need. The only drawback is that, although it support markdown, it saves markdown files with a .txt extension. This can cause problems with other applications I have accessing my markdown files in my dropbox. The workaround for now is to manually save the file each time using the share to dropbox feature (which lets me name the file), but once (and if) the app is updated to use the proper markdown extension it will be five stars for me.

Excellent This is near perfection, just what I've been searching the market for. Clean and to the point, for real writing. Now I can uninstall all these note pad apps lol

Nice but with one small caveat. Great app, seamless syncing, and nice presentation. Needs to save notes as *.md, though.

Great app-just one change I would like Friend recommended this and it is exactly what I was looking for--simple, easy. Using a droid 2 global (has slideout keyboard) My one request is because I'm using swiftkey. It works fine when I'm typing text in the note (but I don't do that all the time) but swiftkey doesn't work when I'm typing the "title" (which is all I use on most of my quick notes) Otherwise...clean and simple...

Folders Would be nice if subfolders were displayed too.. many people use nested folders to organize notes :)
