ASTRO SMB Module

Astro-crap Tried several times, down loaded different Astro apps. Non of them show up on my Galaxy S III

Unfinished. unintuitive handling of network shares! Clumsy navigation from mobile to share. Often says shares are 'empty' minutes after having displayed contents. Meaningless errors like "blue error bad_netpath". Forgets login every time.

Scans network finds nothing. Would be great if it did what the name suggests. Astro was the best but this plugin isnt ready for public use. I have a number of machines and NAS units on the local network this plugin can't find or connect to any of them.

down the tubes new interface is crap. no one wants their android to look like an iPhone. let's get back to black and minimalism please. auto scan doesn't work. server setup options work OK (left slide option, people....add new location...)

Doesn't seem to work The dialogue for adding an SMB share is Spartan to say the least, with only one input field for server address (share username and password fields are know here to be seen, unless you count the network credentials accessible in the upper right-hand corner?). Worse yet Astro simply refuses to mount or find (when scanning the network) any share, instead displaying a never ending throbber. It's a shame that this module doesn't seem to work, as Astro is by far the most user friendly file manager. :-(

Good Good, but it would be perfect if it could play viedeo without copying it.

Great app's worker It is a very good application

Current version issues... Does not connect on Galaxy note w android 4 as of today. Still works fine on older galaxy s phone w android 2. Both up to date and es explorer works on both. astro interface looks completely different on these two devices, may be a version specific issue.

Great apps. Multiple laptops, mobile devices, windows 7 on most PC's and towers...HP, Dell...Android on Asus/android mobiles and tablets, Cisco router and all shares between discrete platforms work fine...anyone with a contrary comment does not have basic skills...my mom thinks AOL is her computer...maybe dumb down "anyone" in the user base to "people that understand IP and Mac adressing " or at least remember passwords as a requirement. I seem to be able to access all data from all remotely. Just a stupid sales guy...
