This app adds support for Client Certificate Authentication to Exchange ActiveSync accounts, supporting email, native calendar and native contacts synchronization.

If you just stumbled upon this app while browsing the Android Market, chances are that you don't need it. It provides a very specific functionality with a very narrow focus and is not of use to a wide audience.

This app is repackaged from the CyanogenMod 6.1 Email app to install and work on non-rooted phones and not conflict with the stock Email. It is primarily intended to help with EAS accounts with two-way SSL requirements, a feature which has been previously contributed to CyanogenMod as well. Any further improvements of general interest will also be contributed back to CM.

Thanks to: Google / AOSP for the baseline, CyanogenMod for improvements, Chris Dean for icon.

- Improve PIN/password dialogs for access to app., provide further configurations for security settings

Pre-existing in stock/CM Email:
- Background Sync setting is not respected

How do I select a client certificate? Nothing shows up when I try to select a client certificate. How do I select the file?

Don't know what I would do without it Great app. Allows secure connection to Exchange Server with personal certificate.

Had to setup account from scratch after upgrading, wow. Does only allow for pin/passphrase security.

Thunderbolt The previous update actually worked on my thunderbolt with Exchange 2010. This latest update has reverted it back to no longer working.

Same comment as below on android 2.3.3 I loose certificate, all mail, contact and calendar items when restarting the samsung galaxy s1. Help?

fantastic. Client certificate support at last! The lack of client cert support in Android is a stunning mistake by Google, I'm so pleased to see someone has worked around it! We've had client-cert protected ActiveSync for ~10 years: first used (poorly) by Windows Mobile, then (spectacularly) by iPhone and at last available on Android :-) Any idea when a 7.XX release is due? The HTML mail is really required these days. Thanks again - you rock!

Keep up the good work the best app for Exchange, Hotmail and Yahoo mail, believe me I have to test all the free and those that cost (30-day free) in order to have all my mail in a one program but none worked as Secure EAS same programs downloaded just a month back and the same for calendar. Keep up the good work

Very solid Does email, calendar and contacts well, incl corporate directory.

It connects fine initially. It conforms to security policies, but it stops working after a few hours. Have been unable to resolve this issue.
