THIS REQUIRES ROOT.

A simple application for disabling the full qwerty hardware keyboard backlight.

Bugreports = BY MAIL.

I don't have much time to maintain this. The code is available on google code under  gplv3. If anyone wants developer access mail me.

Backlight Off was developed for Android by Anders Aagaard

Package name : com.neuron.BacklightOff

System permissions : 2 Click here to show/hide list
  • android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
  • com.neuron.BacklightOff.CHANGE_BACKLIGHT_STATE

Does not work on stock rooted Epic 4G. :-(

Works real nice. Lights fade out and it always works. I wish turning of the menu LEDs was so perfect.
