The rising, Chicago based group, Westside Cartel, has been “swaggin” through the hood since 2006. Elevating their success since then, these 4 artists has been swarming the hip hop scene, both on the streets and on the internet, and developing the ideal fan base. These four men linked up to create one of the hottest rap groups in Chicago and in the country. Their diverse lyrics and sound creates a hood scenery and almost puts you in their Shoes. Dean, Critical, Pesci, and Loud Pack Shawty make up the group. Westside Cartel was formed In 2006, When Loud Pack Shawty and Pesci left the former group, "Streetlife", and decided to form the group after recruiting Critical and Dean. After forming in 2008, the four blended their styles and dropped "Cartel Over All". After getting so much buzz from songs of the album such as "Color Blind", "Ain't Life Crazy" And "Grams In A Ziploc", the group decided to step things up a notch and proceed to make a smash hit to enter the Industry. When "Cartel Globetrotters" dropped, the single, "Baby Mama F*cker" created a huge buzz throughout the internet and Chicago area. Since then the group has been rocking shows, opening up for such artists as Waka Flocka Flame, Twista, and Do Or Die. Now the group is working harder than ever and anticipating the drop of their current project, "3 Peat".
