Awesome. Absolutely stunning. Crisp clarity and definition that outshines any old Tascam 4 track...no gimmicks, nothing cutesy. For musicians this is an absolute must.

What happened to support? I've been using the free version for some time. Bought the full version recently, only to find that the support website is down. Probably due to piracy. What a shame. Need mp3 codec please.

Does anyone know if this app has been abandoned? Lots of posts to say olivier has gone AWOL - which is a shame, cos it's been amazing up till now.

Tape Machine Is the only recorder that makes recordings of loud bands legibly. Every other program I tried sounded crackly and horrible. Thank You Tape Machine!

No updates or support available Great idea, but support was dead (the website) before purchase, so I am stuck with a Wav recorder and no MP3 codec.

Why does it verify license every time? So I can't use it when I don't have internet? Can't resume recording after pause, if it's recording mp3.

Developer missing in action? As an early adopter of Tape Machine, I've loved the quality and flexibility of this app for a while now. But since upgrading to a Galaxy Nexus, I've noticed that Olivier no longer appears to be issuing updates. Tape Machine is sadly unreliable on ICS, and the dev doesn't seem to be responding to emails anymore. I will hold out hope for a return to its previous greatness, but in the meantime, I must reluctantly look for a replacement.
