-- SETUP --
Let’s take the example of Lisa who has decided to use Family Siren, family locator, to ensure the safety of her family which includes her husband David, daughter Sarah (5 yrs) and son Adam (12 yrs). Each family member has an Android phone. Lisa sits at the kitchen table with all 4 phones in front of her.

STEP 1: Setup Lisa’s (Mom) phone
Download the Family Siren app from the Android Marketplace
Enter Email Address
Enter desired Password (6+ characters)
Enter First Name and Last Name.
Check your email and click on the email verification link in the email from support@familysiren.com
Go to the app. Type in the password.
You are now logged into the app and should see the home screen dashboard.

STEP 2: Add other family members
Click on Map icon on Home Screen of application
Click on the plus sign “+” icon to add a family member
Click Pick Contact. Select family member from your addressbook. Email, First and Last Name should automatically be filled in.
Repeat step above to add all family members.
Once you are done, click back button to reach Map screen.

STEP 3: Accepting Invitation from Family Members
Click on the “Accept” link in invitation email.
If email is already a part of a family, this invitation cannot be accepted.
Create a new account by entering the password (6+ characters)
Download the Family Siren app from the Android Marketplace.
Start the app.
Enter the same email address and password.
You will be able to locate your family members.
