Sucks the juice I listen to my podcasts in airplane mode because I can't get a signal at work. This app absolutely kills my battery life. Maybe it's constantly trying to connect to the internet? I know playing an mp3 doesn't drain my battery that fast. Google Listen just needs to fix it's search and it would be perfect.

Best podcast app I tried them all and this is the one that does what I want. 1. It's found every feed I've searched for. 2. Auto update/download works as it should and is configurable 3. Plays in the background Many other players do one or two of the above, but none I have found do all three.

Trial is not functional I never downloaded or listened to a single podcast and it is telling me my trial expired and have to buy it. WTF... I didn't expect this from a such a well known app. Developer needs to fix this.

no real advantage over "Listen" The only feature I'm missing in the free Google podcast player "Listen" is a variable speed playback. DoggCatcher doesn't provide this on its one, but uses the "Presto Sound Library". This will cost you an additional 4€ and doesn't support AAC (that's what I listen to most).

Good (Updated) Good I really like this podcast manager (though wish Google would have a podcast service). I can find all the same podcasts I could find on my iPod Touch and more! The only caveat I have that has prevented me from purchasing it has been that 1. I lied. Somehow my ringtone got set as the podcast (the original ringtone was inaccessible on my SD card). So no worries. 2. When I am using the playlist, I wish there could be an option to not have it remove after playback. I'm on the HTC Rezound.

Decent Superior to Google Listen in most ways. But, cannot manually sort podcasts. This is a deal breaker for me. Purchasing Beyondpod instead.
