This application tracks your sleep habits and presents statistical and graphical analysis thereof for your amusement and enlightenment.

This free version will never expire is not crippled in any way.  It does contain ads at the bottom of the screen to help support development.  A version called "Sleepmeter" is available on the market that will cost you a few coins but doesn't have ads.

Go ahead and post whatever nonsense you want in the Android Market comments, but I've given up on reading them.  If you want to get my attention, send me an e-mail.  I usually answer them promptly.

Explanation of required permissions:

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: This permission is used to export history, graph screenshots, and statistics screenshots to the SD card

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: This permission is necessary for the debt notification to work properly.  Without this the debt notification would not work after a device restart.

VIBRATE: This permission is used to optionally make the debt notification vibrate your device.

INTERNET: This permission is solely used to fetch ads.  The paid version of this app does not require this permission.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: This permission is also required to fetch ads.  The paid version of this app does not require this permission.

Sorry, but it's 5 stars! Hey, the review isn't for you! This app is awesome. A sleep tracker that doesn't make you sleep with your phone in the bed. It's a diary, and the humor helps insomniacs! Thank you, buddy, even if you don't read these! It also works with Sleep Bot, which has to be connected to your bed. Your choice.

A stats package with no realtime data collection. The app is a statistical package and faulted for the poor overview in Google Play. You get more explicit information about that after you load the app and read the notice about what it does. At the very end of the notice it tells you, paraphrasing, “the app does not collect actual data on its own and if you want that get some other app. This one is not for you”. From what I could tell the app will run stats from two sources, user hand entered, or side loaded/downloaded from Sleepbot. You can hand qualify your input with tags related to dreams, aids (like alcohol, pills &etc.), hindrances (like caffeine, dog barking, bathroom break & etc.), tags (like hotel, school night, work night & etc.), and add notes and comments. It will then run stats on the above. No so useful for me but might be a replacement for doing your own monitoring with Excel. It might be useful for evaluating Sleepbot data. Given the developers comment of, “Go ahead and post whatever nonsense you want in the Android Market comments, but I've given up on reading them”, I doubt if they would be any good. Cranks can be discounted but dismissing feeback is not a good developer strategy.
