U.S. Historical Documents

Meg Excellent! I'm studying American studies degree in the UK and it's extremely useful! Hard to remember all the facts at times and this keeps it at your fingertips whenever you need it! Costs less than a coffee in my uni cafe!

-2 stars for Copy Perversion…   Immediately after buying and installing this app, I tried to move it to the SD card, to spare my phone's scarcer internal memory. I couldn't, because it's “Copy Protected”.   Since the Apple ][ days, I have always intensely hated copy perversion. It does nothing to deter actual software piracy, while significantly inconveniencing those who buy software legitimately. It often happened, back in those days, that I'd buy a program in order to honestly own the right to use it, but I'd get a pirated “cracked” copy to actually use, rather than put up with the copy perversion on the legitimately-purchased copy.   The three-star rating I have given this app at this time assumes that it is otherwise perfect, and that I would have rated it at five stars if not for the copy perversion.  As long as any copy perversion is present which, in any noticeable way impairs my legitimate use of this program, three stars is the best rating it can possibly get from me.  I may later reduce my rating even further, if I find other deficiencies.   Otherwise, my impression is positive.  It does appear to be a very valuable collection of documents, wrapped in a nicely-written app.

VERY EDUCATIONAL Love it!!!! It really helps me when I need real facts when dealing with a liberal who thinks they know everything about everything!!

Unparalled use and value An amazing collection of historical documents for free. I have used this for quick reference more than once. Menus divide longer documents into separate sections (i.e. each Article in the U.S. Constitution). I would like to see a tablet specific layout. HTC EVO 4G and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

A very nice collection that every American read

The only archive I have seen that compares in quality is The Avalon Project at Yale Law School. Very well done!
