This is the free version of Permissions Denied. (BTW I didn't remove any existing functionality from the free version, I've improved on the app, added some to the free version and put the rest of the changes in the pro version)

This application does not work on all devices, you will need to just try it out and see if it works for your device. Try this before you buy the pro version!

The Pro version of Permission Denied has a widget, detects more applications, allows you to see all applications with a specific permission, a ui upgrade, of sorts, and handles rejecting permissions better than the free version.

This app Requires Root Access!

Permissions allows you to effectively control the permissions that apps which are installed onto your phone, via the market or some other source.

You must reboot before these changes take place and be aware that denying an app a permission that it is requesting may result in the app Force Closing.

Please us the backup feature with care! Always make backups of your device.

my hints MIGHT help you KILLS permissions for camera, SMS, contacts, NFC, start-up @ boot, unneeded internet access. DISABLE *ONLY* 1 PERMISSION ON 1 APP, then use reboot (in settings) to test if app works. if not, just re-enable the 1 permission and reboot phone to re-test. DON'T TURN OFF EVERY PERMISSION OR USE MASTER CONTROL, as the same permission disabled may be OK on 1 app, but NOT on others! takes time to build, but worth it. SOME APPS and/or UPDATES MAY TURN PERMISSIONS BACK ON, but I FOUND IT BEST TO *NOT* LOCK IT...

Works on HTC Rezound To get permissions to stick, you need to use hot reboot (with roms that support it) and not fully reboot phone.

Stopped Working... Gets stuck "fixing permissions" upon opening every time now since Mar 31, but nothing has changed on my phone. Worked fine before that. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no good.

:( DO NOT USE ON AN HTC REZOUND WITH CLEANROM!! You'll crap your pants when it borks your phone and it ends up taking 4 complete ROM flashings to fix it, like it did mine. Almost thought I had a bricked phone.

Worthless. Google maps has permissions I wouldn't let my most trusted people in my life have. This app is selling an upgrade. Uninstall.
