Google Map with Topographic Map, View areas of State Plane Coordinate Systems, UTMs and Principal Meridian overlays.

Geo-tagged photos. Take and email photos displaying lat/long  time, description and direction of the photo. Photos saved as Google Earth KMZ.

State Plane Coordinate Conversions NAD83 <> WGS84 latitude and Longitude.

Geiod height calculation tool. Show geiod height for any location.

Point ID, show addresses with county/zip code location.

Weather Forecast and Weather Radar tool. Display weather information by simply picking a position on the map.

Geo-code Latitude/Longitude to Township, Range and Section.

Magnetic Declination tool. Show the magnetic declination at any point on map.

Show GPS position, Search for locations or positions by latitude/longitude. View NGS points, NGS data sheets and NGS  Vertcon data.

Other functions  include a magnetic compass, Inclinometer and the ability to measure distances and areas. GPS positions may be picked from the map stored and sent as email. Roads and trails may be recorded as KML files and emailed or downloaded  as overlays on Google Earth.

This program is not currently available for Android 3.0+

Some maps and overlays only available in the USA

AutoPan has been reported as a problem. When using functions such as Latlong --> TwnRngSec, AutoPan should be turned off.

Great program Great for gps work. Usgs info on the spot . I do have suggestions to improve it though.

Freezes constantly. Keeps saying NGS data not available. Nothing useful other than maps, which are free in Google Maps, anyway.

Quick way to get NGS data, ability to record/email KML very handy. Seamless between map and Topo. Like compass and inclinometer. PLSS would be great.

Toggle between map, topo, satellite & terrian for current location is handy. Measure, area, compass and inclinometer are very easy to use.

The potential is there... Hopefully the developer will continue to update this app as it has the potential to be very useful. Good: 1. Switching between Google maps (satellite, vector, and terrain) and USGS quads (via MyTopo) is effortless 2. Plotting NGS benchmarks works well and links to datasheet. 3. Measure tool and compass will be beneficial. Bad: 1. No pinch to zoom 2. NGS datasheets open in app and not in browser preventing copy/save Ugly: 1. Misleading about SPC, only shows SPC boundaries 2. Quad view zoom is limited
